I used to spend 12 months a year in my school.  During the summer months I was either busy writing curriculum (thanks to one forward looking Superintendent) or teaching Summer School.  I used to observe our administrators and when school started I wondered just what they were doing all summer as we did not get the training or leadership we really needed.

Please keep in contact with your staff, parents and students.  Use social media and even send post cards to keep in touch.

Just as we need to know what students want from their teachers it is important that you meet the needs and expectations of your faculty.
