Teach Thyself
In the
early 1980's I taught myself Appleworks (word processor,
database and spreadsheet). I was one of the first teachers in my
school to put my lesson plans and tests on a computer. When I
was asked to take over the school library I taught myself html to
begin a website. I also taught my library squad to enter all
the library books on a database that I created. Today, there
are so many ways for you to learn how to do just about everything
you need. Seize the moment and learn on your own. Don't wait
for professional development to come to you.
Then, take your learning and teach others.

is useless, and add what is specifically your own.” Bruce Lee
